Origin U.K/ Wales  :-  1 Fennel weighs appox 75g. Surpisingly part of the carrot family. With its delicate anise flavour its a great addition to salads, green risottos and stir fries or braised with shallot & garlic  as a side dish. Its fronds can be used as a herb garnish. It goes well with citrus (blood orange), chicken and fish dishes. a hugely versatile vegetable.

Our  Vegetables are grown by us organically when available therefore free from chemical sprays and sustainable when available from our farm or other local producers subject to availability.  When they are not available we seasonally buy the best sustainable alternative.
