We keep rare breed pedigree Hampshire down and Hampshire Down cross flocks of sheep. Hamshire downs are a dual purpose large carcass sheep which produce flavoursome succulent sticky lamb and soft wool. The native Welsh breeds of sheep produce rough wool which is more suited to the carpet industry. We produce Organic wool blankets in our local mill and organic sheepskins are produced for us in Carmarthenshire.
We sell our Hampshire Down lamb from the farm shop we keep a a good supply of lamb and older hoggit. We can currently post out whole and half lambs which are packed and labelled for the freezer via overnight courier. The lamb is posted out to you frozen in sheeps’ wool packaging which keeps it frozen for up to 48 hours. However we recommend you place it into your freezer as soon as it arrives. We can post out fresh lamb but this is subject to pre-order and seasonal availability.
